Queyras
is wildlife park located in the French Alps (SE of France), between the
Durance valley and the Italian border. The region is one of the sunniest in
the Alps, with an average of more than 200 sunny days per year. It has a rich
array of wildlife, small villages in typical style and is unblemished by large
ski resorts. An ideal place for cross-country skiing (what we call 'langlauf')
and backcountry skiing (what we call 'ski touring').
